Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Delhi Daredevils

Delhi Boys or RCB Legends?

Delhi Daredevils maintained their spot in the Rankings chart this year placed at the bottom. To be fair, they have won equad matches as Mumbai and Bangalore high profile sides. Their captain is one of the best in the country as well like the other two. Still they are figuring out ways to win.

Our Analysis of what’s wrong with Daredevils

Rishabh pant should come first down. Pant is not reliable as a finisher but then he has all sorts of shorts which could come in handy at the top. With Iyer looking out of sorts, they should stick with Pant at top for all tourneys going ahead.

Chris Morris is looking out of sorts. He is bowling haywire lines. Down the leg, on the bat they are not what the Chris Morris from last season used to bowl. May be Zaheer Khan had better understanding of what he wants Morris to Bowl. Because of his batting power they may still retain him.

Shreyas Iyer: Well, He needs to start scoring as simple as that.

Vijay Shankar: He has failed big time. Not hitting with the bat and not bowling at all. There is a case for him to be moved out of the squad.

Probable XI:

Jason Roy, Gautam Gambhir,  Rishabh Pant, Glenn Maxwell, Shreyas Iyer, Gurkeerat Singh Mann, Chris Morris, Rahul Tewatia, Mohammed Shami, Shahbaz Nadeem, Trent Boult

RCB

RCB has serious selection issue. They want to make their sides so much top heavy that people at the bottom are going to be short of confidence. They need to include players who don’t have the baggage of the side. Right now, all three top order players Virat, Quinton, and ABD are playing with baggage to carry their sides. In this case, it will be difficult for anyone to perform.

My XI for RCB: Parthiv Patel(WK), Manan Vohra, Virat Kohli, Mandeep Singh, AB De Villiers,

Colin De GrandHomme, Corey Anderson, Chris Woakes, Washington Sundar, Umesh Yadav, Mohammad Siraj

Probable XI: Quinton de Kock, Virat Kohli, AB de Villiers, Mandeep Singh, Corey Anderson/Colin De Grandhomme, Washington Sundar, Sarfaraz Khan, Chris Woakes, Umesh Yadav, Mohammed Siraj, Yuzvendra Chahal

Both these sides need to pull up their socks and need to perform better or they have already sealed their fate in the tournament.
